GCSE RESULTS 2024: WILLOWBRIDGE ACADEMY ALLIED BY NORTHGATE COLLEGE

The results across all year 11 pupils upheld the high expectations from previous years with 86% of our pupils were able to get into their first choice of further education. Willowbridge Academy performed as one of the highest comprehensive schools in GCSE grades this year with a total of 74% of students passing GCSE Mathematics and English Language GCSE. Here are some of our students showcasing their wonderful grades and future plans!

Felix Royale: He achieved a Grade 9 in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Statistics. Grade 8 in English Literature, Geography, and French. Grade 7 in English Language and a Level 2 Distinction in Sport. He is continuing to go to a Sixth Form provision to study A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. 

Kharia Taljaard: She achieved a Grade 8 in Chemistry, Food Technology and Afrikaans, Grade 7 in Biology, Physics, History, and Mathematics. Grade 6 in Statistics and Grade 5 in English Literature and English Language. She is continuing her study at Northgate College to do A Level History, Level 3 Child Development and Level 3 Health and Social Care.


GCSE RESULTS 2023: NORTHGATE SECONDARY SCHOOL AND COLLEGE

The results across all year 11 pupils increased significantly compared to last years results from Northgate Secondary School. 88% of our pupils were able to get into their first choice of further education. Northgate Secondary School and Sixth Form College performed as one of the highest comprehensive schools in GCSE grades this year with a total of 71% of students passing GCSE Mathematics and English Language GCSE. Here are some of our students showcasing their wonderful grades and future plans!

Isamarie Ryte: She achieved a Grade 9 in English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Statistics. Grade 8 in Biology and Media Studies, and a Level 2 Distinction* in Music. She is continuing her study at Northgate College to do A Level Media Studies, English Language, and Criminology.

Lana Boosé: She achieved a Grade 9 in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Geography. Grade 8 in English Literature and Sociology, a Level 2 Distinction* in Health & Social Care, and a Level 2 Distinction in Music. She is continuing her study at Northgate College to do A Level English Language, Sociology, and Level 3 Health and Social Care.
